  • The new director and her assistant are doing a great job turning this place around. They care a bout the animals, and their last audit resulted in ZERO infractions. Let's support this place and give the staff credit they deserve for turning the place around. My favorite activity was the safari ride.
  • I was expecting the worse after driving up and seeing the parking area. However, it did get better esp. after realizing they are a non profit organization. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to our very large group. The kids loved feeding the animals. The Safari Bus driver was soooo funny. Our entire group was stuffed on one bus and we just loved it. A different experience but a fun one. No it is not a metropolitan zoo.....but it is nice for what it is....a non profit safari type affair.
  • I did some research on this place and story after story came up about pretty horrific animal abuse going all the way back to the beginning. As long as people keep paying entrance fees, these types of animal hellholes will continue to exist. Please don't teach your children that it is okay to steal beautiful creatures from the wild/their homelands and doom them to a life in captivity. There are so many video cams where kids (and their parents) can watch these animals in the wild as they were meant to be. Please empathize with the animals and do not support a live devoid of meaning and in captivity for any wild animal. You have a choice to be there; they do not. Those wild animals have literally given their life so a human being can have a few minutes of entertainment at their expense. compassion.
