  • On this warm day in late Feb. with all the trees starting to come back alive, I decided to get out my camera and get out and enjoy the Hatcher Gardens. Located only a few minutes from downtown, this p...  more »

  • It's a great place to get outside and relax in a quiet area. There are lots of things to see, take photos of and sketch - or take a book to read. It was amazing for me to see some plants growing there in a climate I thought was too cold for them. Worth going back several times in all the seasons to watch how things change.
  • This is wonderful place to take family, take a peaceful walk, enjoy beautiful plants & trees, and/or get outside to enjoy nature. This is where my husband & I got married; it is not only extremely affordable but with all the beautiful flowers & scenery, we didn't have the hassle & expenses of buying flowers or anything else associated with making wedding venue more attractive.
  • Lovely little wooded area right in the city. Just past the entrance, it looks as if you're miles deep into the forest. Plenty of water features and sitting areas, and a wide variety of plant life. Great for photo sessions, or just going to relax and get away from the city for a while.
  • I wish I could have walked through the entire thing. As is I hobbled inside and spent most of my time in a gazebo there. The set up is lovely and it's much bigger inside than you'd expect from the road. Wide variety of plants and just so so well set up. Like a little oasis in the city.
  • Beautiful, relaxing, easy walking. A great place to go and walk around and take in nature
