There is always something happening at Chapman Cultural Center...be it a student art exhibit in the hallways or an internationally acclaimed opera singer on the stage of the Chapman Theatre. Chapman Cultural Center is the focal point of the performing and visual arts, science, and history for Spartanburg County.

With the financial and oversight help of The Arts Partnership of Greater Spartanburg, nine different cultural organizations provide the visual arts, music, stage performances, scientific wonder, and historical perspective for local citizens, reaching over a quarter million children, students, adults and out-of-town visitors each year.

  • Even the front row has good seats. Great acoustics, great small venue Easy in, easy out. Tons of free parking!!
  • Our Cub Scout troop visited here and had a great experience. The lady working the desk was extremely helpful.
  • Place is awesome. Place for local talent to be discovere !
  • I got my husband tickets to the Johnny Cash show for Christmas. It was a great gift and fabulous show!
  • Small and intimate venue. Good location.
