  • What is not to like? Clean ocean water? Groomed smooth sand? Great snack bar? Coopers beach is the BEST!
  • We came across this on our last day. Our hotel did offer transport however we had a hire car so went on our own. It was very clean and plenty of space for everyone. There was surfing. No shops cafes -...  read more »
  • This beach all requirements! The beach is very long and wide and extremely clean. The sand is so incredibly fine, that you can walk barefoot for hours without any problems. The water is clear and pleasant in temperature. At best, it is in the morning, as it is properly filled around noon (although that very well distributed in the length of the beach). You can rent deck chairs and umbrellas. There are also restrooms and a self service restaurant (which is not very appealing). Because up here around noon is a very long queue, is recommended to bring a picnic.

  • If not for the price to park ($40 a day) would easily be 5+ stars. Great beach. Snack bar. Bathrooms. Spend the day. Stay for music or movies at night.
  • Well for me, the hamptons is suppose to be a classy place. Going to this beach I was excited to be in the hamptons with all the million dollar beach homes. The beach is beautiful and the waves are awesome BUT the bathroom was horrible. Like disgusting. I expected way more than what I saw. The bathroom at the Coney island aquarium beach was cleaner than coopers bathroom. Hair all over the place, doors that didn't close and toilets out of use. Being I spent $40 to just park my car at this private beach I expected a cleaner bathroom. You can afford at least one descent maintenance person amongst all those teenage employees.
  • Just about the nicest beach on the south shore of Long Island. At times, the color of the ocean looks a bit like the Caribbean. Very cool.
  • $40 to park is not bad for the Hamptons, but for the price, the facilities could be better maintained. Parking is FREE after 5 pm, and in summer there is still plenty of daylight left. Beach is clean and easy to get to.
  • Great spot for family getaways nice sand lovely breeze you can rent chairs and umbrellas it's pricey but worth it
