  • Moose Ridge is truly a gorgeous course. The warning sign in the pro shop that "this is a tough course" should be heeded. A high handicapper like me struggled mightily, and, like other reviewers I find...  read more »
  • Stopped here to play the course for the first time. I loved the up north feel and the course and greens were in great shape. The rough was lush so had a tough time finding several of our balls. It has...  read more »

  • Well kept course, but I will concur with most of these reviews. The course is horribly ran. I called ahead and made a team time for myself. I play solo quite often after work. I even asked while I was on the phone if it was ok, since some courses don't allow singles. When I arrived I was told I was being paired up with a twosome. After some arguing I agreed to play with the other two. Before the 2nd hole, these two were doing coke and smoking pot between every shot pretty much. No ranger, called the club house to no answer, and pretty much suffered through the first 7-8 holes with these guys. They then wanted beer so they actually drove off the hole we were on to go find the beer cart. I didn't wait, I played ahead and finished the round by myself. Didn't matter because there was no ranger to be seen. I golf all over Michigan at some of the nicest courses in the state...this has the potential to be one, but someone over there needs to get their head out of their ass.
  • A BEAUTIFUL COURSE THAT BURIES YOU IN RULES They declared a 90 degree rule when the course had not seen a drop of rain in 5 days. The tv monitor mounted on each cart never stopped beeping throughout the round (watch your speed, steep hill ahead, return to cart path etc). If you do not return to the cart path in a timely fashion the cart is equipped to shut down leaving you stranded. This ruined what should've been a great day of golf. I will not be playing here again.
  • Love this golf course. Very well taken care of. Full range with large practice putting green. Tee boxes are nice and clean, fairways are cut nice and short with fast greens. Highly recommended course if you love golf. I do warn it's not cheap however.
  • Very well kept golf course... That's about the only good thing I can say.. We had to wait every hole every shot. There was ALWAYS 3 groups waiting on every hole. We even saw a group of 4 sharing 2 sets of clubs. This is an expensive course and it's ran this badly.. Save your money time and FRUSTRATION. Only wish I could give it a zero rating
  • Unless you straight every shot and like to torture yourself, don't bother. Extremely beautiful course that is well kept. No complaints there. Just don't expect to shoot well unless you're a scratch golfer.
