  • Cool vibes! Makes great for a pic nik or walk! Great shaded areas and close to a beach! It has a lot of cool historical pieces like old gas filling stations, a blacksmith! (he was actually there) a boat ramp for old time boats, exhibits, and gift shop!
  • Awesome place! Nice to see the history of the area. Definitely should stop by and check it out if you're nearby.
  • Talking with the docents, you get a great idea of what it was like to live here "back in the day". The homes, out buildings and old cars are well preserved, all by volunteers, as the State Parks are unable to provide much support. Knowing that this is the effort of people who care, makes the experience all the more amazing.
  • Must visit place in lake Tahoe.. the beach near is less crowded and peace ful
  • Come here every time on our frequent trips to Tahoe. Lovely, easy walk along the lake. In summer can get very crowded, come early!
