  • My husband and I visited this park during a recent trip to Charleston with our two huskies. The entry fee is $2 per person and pets are free. During our week-long trip we visited this park 3 times bec...  read more »
  • We arrived about 11:00 am and stayed until around 3:00pm with a 6 yo & a 2 yo. We had so much fun! This is a great Waterpark, very kid friendly and enough for adults to do to keep everybody happy!
  • This is huge park. The admission to get into the park is not expensive. It is full of walking and bike paths all of which are free. It's a great place for a first time kayaker to get in the water. The...  read more »
  • Very well-developed campsite and outdoor recreation complex. It is, however, geared a lot more towards RV camping than tent camping. The "primitive camping" area for tents isn't huge so it's very unlikely you'll get anything close to a secluded or private spot for your tent. Nonetheless, you get tons of great amenities such as nearby running water & bathrooms, fire pits, and picnic tables.
  • Huge park with plenty of amenities. Really enjoy the dog park, all of the walking paths, and the sitting areas they have near the natural areas. Great spot to watch wildlife and birds!
  • Very nice place! We were on vacation during Christmas and had to check out the Holiday Festival of was amazing! Everything from the Christmas art pieces by local schools, to the food vendors, rock wall, bonfire, and train ride. If you want to be in the Christmas spirit this is truly the place to be! Some of the most unique and probably the best lights show you'll ever see. Fun for the whole family. We'll definitely be back again! Loved it!!!
  • We camped in the primitive campsite area. It is a large open area with fire rings and picnic tables spread around the area. There are several sites tucked back in the trees that offer more privacy, but you have to get there early to get those spots! Camping equipment must be carried into the area- no backing the car right up to your campsite. There are restrooms right there in the primitive area with flush toilets and sinks. The shower house is a 3-5 min walk and is very clean and well-lit. We enjoyed our stay. The park has a lot of activities and is a short drive from the beach or downtown Charleston. We would definitely stay here again.
  • Good shuttle to downtown Charleston, nice & tidy CG, but overpriced as WIFI patchy and no cable.
