  • I go every year for Tenebrae and a few time a year for special events. The CSC's are a great order. The history associated with this Basilica is amazing. Take the tour if you can.  more »

  • not to be missed: the pietà by Ivan Meštrović (considered his finest work) and the statue of Saint Brother André
  • Excellent mass, the history just envelopes you when you approach and enter. Especially love the inscription above the East entrance. God, Country, Notre Dame. Will forever be going there once a year for Mass.
  • A truly gorgeous church. Even if you aren't Catholic it's easy to appreciate the art an architecture surrounding this famous landmark.
  • I was spell-bounded. I wanted to remain there for hours. There was such tranquility in the music, murals, artwork, lights, silence, and people.
  • What a very beautiful basilica. I took a ton of picutures. Most astounded by the murals and artwork. I never been to Rome yet, but felt like I was when walked through those doors.
