#3 of 7 in Things to do in Sonora
Handcrafted organic hard cider and apple brandy purveyors, Indigeny Reserve is a sustainable refuge, nestled in the hills of Sonora, California.

Go up Greenly Rd. turn right on Lyons Bald Mt. right at Apple Ranches, left on Summers Ln. go back to covered bridge and here you are!

We are asked several times a day, in the tasting room or via email and phone messages, whether we can accommodate weddings at Indigeny Reserve. For the time being, the short answer is "no." We have been working on the permits for quite awhile and we are hopeful that someday we will be able to say a resounding "YES!"

In the meantime, if you have questions about events at Indigeny Reserve, please contact our Event Coordinator Jamie Banks at (209) 743-3208.

  • Off the beaten path, upscale services. Great products, fantastic site. Staff is very friendly and engaged. No charge for tastings. Tours of the facilities are free. Gift shop is well done and interesting.
  • Hard cider that wants to taste like apples and not be a copy cat of beer - truly for the cider fans. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. We really enjoyed sampling their ciders (for free)- ended up buying a growler of their organic cider to take home which is only available on tap at the reserve. Delicious and smooth with a good balance of tart and sweet. professional and friendly staff and the tour with the owner was fantastic and informative. Make sure to ask about tasting their apple vodka and limoncellos in the back room. Also space to have a picnic, shaded benches, and walking trails. Dog and kid friendly setting.
  • The property is gorgeous and we had a blast visiting with our family. The owners enthusiasm in his tour is also evident in the cider which was outstanding. Thank you for the opportunity to visit your property.
  • The drive is pleasant to the facility. Tucked away in the hills just outside of Sonora. All the products they offer are flavorful and smooth, there really isn't a bad choice to be had. Jay gave an excellent tour, he used words that the average person can understand to explain the process they use. The pricing is about what you would expect from something that is a tourist attraction. The environment is pleasant, and laid back, the closest thing I've had to a small town feeling since I moved to California. They are dog friendly, I was able to bring my dog with me with no trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience there and I would recommend giving it a visit. It's a good way to spend an afternoon.
  • Amazing place and great customer service. A staff member helped us out with a gift card issue. She had it solved in only a few minutes.
