  • We stopped here on New Year's Day when many other wineries were closed. We were able to buy some gourmet sandwiches and enjoy the views. It is a spacious property with a nice picnic area out doors and...  more »
  • Viansa is beautiful. Perched on a small height it dominates the surrounding countryside and can be a picnic. A department store with items around the wine and gastronomy to the brand Viansa, a small grocery store where you can buy sandwiches, cold cuts and cheese to accompany the tasting where the picnic. You can visit the winery. The tasting is in principle free if you buy wine and paid if one does that taste. Two lists of tasting of 4 wines on the 22 offered for sale: a classic $ 15, a 'reserve' to $ 20. I chose the tasting '' reserve, '' but soon we crossed the 4 wines and I ended up tasting a dozen red and white wines. That's a lot but I don't swallow. Viansa wines are very Italian, sharp and acidic, for the classics but some vineyards 'reserve' bodied and full-bodied, have similarities with good bordeaux or even on the sides of the Roussillon. Lots of tannins also. I found very good "Primitivo" and the Reserve Cabernet-Sauvignon of 2013. The tasting was finally free. I bought a few bottles.

  • I loved this winery - got married here 10 years ago. Unfortunately the wine selection isn't as great as it used to be. They aren't special anymore. Views are spectacular and picnic area is still great.
  • This is a great place to kick back and slow your pace while taking in the beauty that is Sonoma. I recommend buying a bottle and some snacks to enjoy the true splendor of this winery they have yummy food choices and a tasty wine selection you can purchase by the glass or by the bottle it's all good😀
  • The view from the top of the winery is awesome!:)so relaxing, the landscape and gardens is beautiful
  • Great views but this place can be summed up in a few words- " a wedding venue that also happens to have some wine".
  • Was introduced to Viansa Winery 19 years ago on our honeymoon. Bought a bottle of chianti. Still have it.
