  • Enjoyed a nice selection of cheese during our food tour of sonoms. My personal favorite was the golden bear. I would highly recommend this stop while in Sonoma!
  • Came here on a food tour. Cheeses are delicious, staff pleasant and knowledgable. Brought cheese back to Texas!!
  • This place is fantastic! The cheese is outstanding, and the prices are so reasonable. Our Sonoma Adventure on the segways included a tasting of many of the delicious cheese made here at Vella!
  • Some of the best cheese I have had in the area. Better than some of the high-end cheeses in grocery stores. They will let you sample all the different varieties the dry Jack and habanero are my favorite! Do yourself a favor and pick up some cheeses from here to take on your wine tasting tour.
  • My wife and I have been coming here for 11 years since we found it on our honeymoon. We love this cheese and stop by whenever we are down this way. The tasting counter is staffed by friendly people to guid you through your cheese choices. You owe it to yourself to trek down the road a few blocks and find this place.
  • Everytime I'm in Sonoma I bring back a giant bag for my entire family. Best cheese I've ever eaten outside of France.
  • The best cheese in Sonoma, it's as simple as that. Real cheese, not the kind you get pre-sliced and wrapped in cellophane. All the traditional Jack cheeses (this is Sonoma after all) as well as cheddar, but what sets them apart is their Italian cheeses. Try the Toma, a semi-soft with a buttery consistency that melts in your mouth and makes you say "What do yo mean I ate the entire wedge by myself?" Oh, and by the way you'll get this handcrafted, artisan cheese for less than what you pay for the crap your local mega mart carries.
  • Family owned, amazing cheeses, and great tour actually. Definitely pick up some of their specialities when I'm in the area. Great prices to boot!
