  • Very personal tasting experience. Our guide walked us through the history of the vineyards, their different characteristics, and how the differences played into the finished product. Some of the best Pinots in California!
  • Wonderful sit down experience. We were very well cared for and had an incredible, individualized experience. Friendly and helpful staff, even got a lovely thank you note when we got home.
  • My absolute favourite Pinot Noir from Sonoma. We drink a bottle as a family each time we return to the States!
  • This is a unique wine tasting experience with world-class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvigon wines. The tasting room is very comfortable and located just off the square in the town of Sonoma. I highly recommend it!
  • If you are a Pinot Noir fan, Sojourn Cellars is for you. Here you get to sit down in their intimate and cozy wine tasting room in downtown Sonoma and do a side by side comparison of several different Pinots. Many of which are single vineyard designates. Sojourn doesn't produce that much wine... I think only about 6,000 cases. Get it while the getting is good. My personal fave is the Gap's Crown Pinot. You must make reservations to taste here. We walked over from the El Dorado Hotel on the square. Perfect! #sonomacounty #sonomawine #winelover #sonoma #pinotnoir

Where to stay in Sonoma

Prices for accommodations in Sonoma are often high. The hotels on or near the town square offer an unbeatable location for experiencing the city's many cultural delights, but you'll pay extra for the convenience. Properties located farther out are more economical and quiet, and provide easy access to Sonoma's stunning countryside. If you are planning a longer holiday, consider booking a vacation rental that feels like a home away from home.
