What a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The wine was very tasty. The charcuterie board was delicious. The atmosphere was exactly what I hoped it would be. more »
This place is awesome! From the olive oil tasting to the wine, you won’t be disappointed. The architecture is spectacular and well worth the visit even if you don’t enjoy drinking wine! more »
I don’t think this is the best wine, but the setting is truly beautiful and not to be missed. Thankfully, we had a nice day so being outside was not an issue. Don’t forget to check out the olive oils. more »
I took my friends from England to have wine tasting in Sonoma. We visited three different wineries, Jacuzzi was the best in every aspect. The staff was very friendly, the cost for tasting was very reasonable, you can choose 5 different wines from a quite complete list of varieties that costs only $10. If you buy a bottle from them, this $10 fee can be waived. The best of the all, their wines are good. We bought 6 bottles of wines from them, and I wish I bought more.
This was our first stop of our 2 days wine country trip and it just happened to be one of the best wineries we visited. We felt welcomed and the combination of the winery tasting and store on one side and the olive oil tasting and store on another, made this winery unique. We came for the curiosity about the Jacuzzi name but we loved it for all of the above comments. The tasting was only $10 and they waved it with the purchase of a couple of bottles which was a much better deal by far that all of the other wineries we visited and the quality of the wines was as good as the most famous ones we stopped by. Highly recommend this winery!!!
Meh. That's the best word I can come up with to describe this place. We started with the olive oil, which was very good, but nothing I haven't had before. We then did a wine tasting and we each chose a different 5 from the list so that we could taste more. The staff was very nice and the wine isn't bad. The wine is just forgettable. I'm not even a wine connoisseur or anything, but everything was just sort of basic, there were no real unique flavors here. The grounds were beautiful though and we enjoyed our walk through them.
Sonoma doesn't fail to disappoint me. Jacuzzi is the sister winery of Cline which is across the street (you can read my raving review of Cline too!) - Jacuzzi has a beautiful building and pretty big estate too, so it would be perfect for a wedding or event. As for their wines, we did two tastings and I loved every single one of their wines I tried. I was so impressed. They have a good variety of every type of wine including whites, reds, roses, and some bubbly and dessert wines. I love that they separate the wine list based on that. Abbey was a great host and provided great conversation as well as some thorough background history on the wines. They also have some sampling rooms inside for their wines and balsamic vinegars (helps soak up the alcohol before you drink haha). I wish I had more room in my luggage to buy more! We will be back.
Sue K was amazing. So friendly and personable and made our short visit to Sonoma perfect. Ask for the wine in a chocolate shot!
