Where to stay in Sonoma

Prices for accommodations in Sonoma are often high. The hotels on or near the town square offer an unbeatable location for experiencing the city's many cultural delights, but you'll pay extra for the convenience. Properties located farther out are more economical and quiet, and provide easy access to Sonoma's stunning countryside. If you are planning a longer holiday, consider booking a vacation rental that feels like a home away from home.

  • Nice seating area by a little pond. Great tasting with outside seating or inside too. Friendly and nice staff  more »

  • One of the oldest wineries in the area and such a tranquil and lovely place. Love how they have tried to keep the area, although it's become touristy. Would definitely recommend calling in advance to get a tasting on the outside patio (reservations only) otherwise they have a few standing spots inside or a pop-up bar on the outside where you can have wine by the glass and walk around the grounds.
  • What a lovely winery with absolutely lovely people. So accommodating and helpful. Someone came up to the parking lot with a golf cart to assist a guest with a walker~ All the staff friendly and helpful, from the golf cart driver to our servers...Scott and Anthony. Everyone relaxed and gracious, not to mention the wine was fabulous and the cheese plate very generous. Met every expectation for taking visiting family on a memorable afternoon~ thank you Gundlach Bundshu for a delightful day...we will be back with friends! Geri Cannon, Laura McSkeane, Erica Monterosa

  • Great outdoors, good staff, highly recommended. Decent wine selection!
  • Nice grounds, interesting history. My fiends liked the wines well enough.
