  • My husband & I came here for the spa services, but did not stay at the hotel. The spa itself & the service were truly wonderful! I had the 90 min salt scrub/massage and it was deluxe. My husband had t...  more »
  • Perfect place to stay in wine country. Food, service, location...what more. Sit inside or out by pool for your meals. Have lemon pancakes for breakfast or lobster omelette.
  • My wife and I stopped in here for a few minutes to return to the scene of the crime, so to speak. This was where we stayed the first time in wine country. The place that ruined us for all other wines....  more »

  • My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Sonoma Mission Inn for the recent UT Chancellor's meeting. We just wanted to say thank you to their staff. We were greeted with a champagne arrival. When Antoinette, Sonoma Mission Inn's Wedding Coordinator, learned that my husband was coming down with a cold, she sent a complimentary tray of fruit and hot tea (delivered by Frederick Andrews) to our room. It made my husband feel so much better and fortified him for the game later in the day. We so much appreciated Antoinette/ Frederick and Sonoma Mission Inn for doing that for us. And we thought the room was lovely and quite spacious.
  • Everything seemed a little off, everything. I booked a top secret surprise birthday weekend for my wife. Surprised indeed. The grounds and staff are simply the best. I understand the building is historical and usually I don't complain but, between the constant creaky foot steps, thumps, toilet flushing, dog barking, conversations and coughing that could be heard from the guest in the rooms around ours (at 7am)... The stay did not warrant the cost we payed. I just can't understand how it could be that noisy. Also the water pressure is the shower is substandard for a Fairmont property. I understand that the hotel was fully committed and could not change our room perhaps they gave me the dud room. See the photo but, I can't post photos with Google, the photo shows a medicine cabinet on a 30° angel above the toilet, my wife's makeup rolled into the toilet.
  • Very nice location. In the heart of Sonoma. Beatiful view of valley. Very quiet and nice. Nearby grocery store and antique restaurant. Nice service and amenities.
  • Rooms are good and up to date. Grounds are nice, but smaller than I would have thought. Self parking can be a problem since not enough spaces. Lobby has nice atmosphere and nice fire pits outside
  • I've loved my stay. The staff had treated is with so much kindness and gone out of their way to show my wife special treatment on her birthday. The Roman bash ritual is so worth it. We didn't plan a day to just hang out at the resort but we certainly should have done so.
