  • This was our last tasting of a five day trip to Napa. We went to Buena Vista due to the historic ambience. We walked in on a Tuesday morning at 10:15 am without reservations. There were 4 other taster...  more »
  • From the moment you arrive you know it's going to be a special visit. The history, the buildings, the stories want to make you stay all day. Our guide Amber was incredible, so passionate and knowledge...  more »
  • Great tour! Very interesting for teens too! They offer many activities as member. Hedge maze was fun, but hedges were too short even for me. I love the period costumes.

  • Great wines and an amazing history. I did the barrel tour and tasting and Buena Vista was definitely interesting. The property has such an amazing history, Our tour guide was friendly and personable. The wines were pretty spectacular as well. I was extremely interested in the little personal touches that the new owner has put on the place. However, it is a high tourist area, which did take away from the overall experience.
  • Beautiful winery grounds with theme-park style exhibits describing the history of the winery, including a hedge maze that's fun for kids. The two-story tasting room has a classic feel of old-American grandeur, and the staff is very nice. This is the only place in Sonoma that sells an official Champagne (as opposed to a sparkling wine). The wines themselves have a New World feel that is typically of the wines of Sonoma and Napa.
  • One of the nicer top-tier wineries in Sonoma Co. Buena Vista had a nice quality selection of wines. Good tasting menu as well. Lovely landscaped gardens. Definitely go into the 2 main customer buildings for tastings (one dedicated for wine, another for bubbly).
  • A beautiful winery tucked away in Sonoma. This winery has beautiful grounds and wonderful wine. My husband and I were so glad we stopped here! The tasting was given to us for free to celebrate our Anniversary. :)
  • Fantastic experience visiting this winery. Very nice reception, with well explained tour and outstanding wine tasting. Atmosphere really takes you back in history and brings an excellent time in visiting the place
