  • I love this theater! The seats are uncomfortable, but it's a historic building, so that's to be expected. The staff here really cares about film, and they do lots of special film festivals and unique events. There is a bar on site, so you can have a beer in the theater. The popcorn is wonderful, and they use real butter. The Museum of Bad Art in the basement is a hysterical diversion for after the movie. My only wish would be for restrooms on the main floor.
  • My favorite place to see movies. Staff members are always pleasant. Place is always clean. Love the atmosphere. Small selection of movies because it's a smaller theater but great choices.
  • An older style theatre - no overly comfy seats, not terribly crowded - that still has the 90s 'the show is about to start' reel. Super cool. Great price and convenient location
  • This historic building with cool decor anchors Davis Sq, the heart of lively Somerville. It combines first-run Hollywood fare with indy flicks, several series of silents & other film classics, and live music performances. Plus, it serves beer and wine. The location is next to a major subway stop, at the intersection of bus lines to Arlington, Medford and Cambridge, and only a pleasant, leafy amble from busy Massachusetts Avenue.
  • Great theater with a classical fell right off the Davis T station. The Somerville Theatre Caters more towards the Indy crowd, and cult classic movie enthusiast. Need a drink? There is a great selection of beers and wines in the lobby.
