  • Ranch where bred ponies, is located near the town of Solvang. We were able to observe the behavior of good-natured and cheerful miniature horses and from communicating with them we had so much fun! Highly recommend!

  • Nice place to visit. The horses are so cute. Nice facilities for the horses and quiet. Just go and chill out with the little horses.
  • Years ago, I saw Huell Howser visit this miniature horse ranch on his trip to Solvang. However, I didn't realize how tiny these horses really are until I saw them in person. The horses are very well k...  more »

  • Really can't say anything negative about this place. They let you stop here for free and see their tiny horses. Great place to bring the kids for about 15-20mins and let them enjoy and have fun.
  • I visited during a weekday so the place is probably better manned on the weekends when there are more visitors, but that's OK with me. Their flyer in the stable says to flag a worker down if you have questions or want to buy a postcard. It's very self guided at 11:30 on a weekday. This is NOT a major time killer. Just another pleasant roadside stop for people who like to see the lesser-seen animals. NOT a petting zoo. I enjoyed watching the miniature horses, lots of which are in green grassy areas (there was a very adorable young one when I visited), some in your typical oudoor dirt pens. Donation boxes here and there. Seems there's plenty of parking but that wasn't a problem during the week! So for what it is, and the fact that the information I found about it was spot on, 5 stars!
  • Awesome! Thanks for letting us enjoy this great blessing.
  • Adorable (and cheap!). My wife and I stopped by here since we were visiting Solvang and it was a ton of fun. The miniature horses were beautiful and well-kept. There is no admission price. Basically, its only open from 10am to 3pm, and you simply pull in and see the horses. They are all fenced in - and there isn't really a plan. Just walk around and they'll come up to the fence for attention. They ask for donations, which go towards food and they have a small gift store in one of the stables. If you have a small kid and need a diversion - I highly recommend it.
  • We always bring our visitors here to see the tiny horses!
