  • The museum is upstairs in a sizable used book shop. It does feature some of Mr. Anderson's items and a few tools used to make wooden shoes, but not too much more. Worth a 10-minute visit if you are in town.
  • Hidden gem of Solvang. Free admission with plenty of info about HCA and his life.
  • The museum is basically just the upstairs of a bookstore. It has interesting information and it was fun to look at Hans Christian Andersen's life. Still, it is small and not worth much time.
  • Beautiful museum with many things to see. If you like reading good books and need a taste of history, this is the place.
  • Not terribly large, but interesting. Bookstore with a good Hans Christian Andersen collection.
