  • Love this resort! I have skied for over 20 years at many resorts in Colorado and Utah. Everything about Solitude is amazing from the close up parking, fast ticket lines, friendly staff, awesome terrain, uncrowded lift lines and slopes to the breathtaking scenery! My husband and I are solid intermediate skiers and were thrilled to find nice, groomed blue slopes....REAL blue slopes, not those black slopes at Snowbird that they call blue! We skied Snowbird our first two days and were very disappointed at the difficulty of the terrain for intermediate and beginner skiers. We will be back to Solitude next year.
  • One of the best resorts out there. The staff is always so kind and helpful. The accommodations are incredible, and the snow is as good as it gets. Great place to go if your sick of waiting in lift lines.
  • Great skiing! Felt very not-crowded and open, and the snow was still holding up well despite it being so late in the season. Food was great too. I always have to get the Works Fries!
  • Excellent resort. I used it as an alternative to the crowded, on Saturday especially, Snowbird. The parking was a breeze and I was able to aprk almost upfront. The facilities are nice and kept in good order. I then proceeded to the rental and had a very good experience there. The worker there was super friendly and helpful. She assisted me with choosing right size of the boots for the snowboard and then suggested the right size of the board. The lifts are spread out so the resort does not feel crowded. The blue and one diamond runs we're a blast.
  • We had a lovely day skiing here. The runs are great for intermediate skiers. The lodge is very accomodating. This is the only resort that would give me a discount for skiing on my birthday! 50% off. Thank you! The only minor critique is that the chair lifts weren't labeled, and sometimes the directional signs were a bit confusing, which I found to be common amongst all the Utah resorts that we skied.
