  • We went to the place in Carlsbad that is open but not officially until Oct. 1st. The location is a fun place to fo to and the tasting is a good one as you get to taste all the whites and Reds. The Pin...  read more »
  • Best wine on the urban wine tour, took the bus tour this year. Best California wine around. Bold, robust, spicy, rich tannins, fruity, flavourful wines are produced by them. Just as good or better tha...  read more »
  • Good stop in Solana Beach. Their Sauvignon Blanc was a real standout - make sure and try it! Nice staff. Their Reds were not bad either.
  • The new location is pretty sweet. The folks that work there are good people. The wine is great and really great after 4 glasses. The mood is melo, please don't go there and act like your in Vegas crapping all over the place and people. If you are local, buy the monthly membership. For roughly 40.00 you get two glasses a DAY (for you and another) and a BOTTLE A MONTH.
  • Carruth Cellars has moved up the street to 118 S Cedros! Nearly on the corner of Lomas Santa Fe and Cedros Ave. It's the same urban winery you know and love, just bigger and better! It is directly across from Culture Brewery, another gem of Cedros Design District. Cheers!
  • It's nice to come by for inexpensive wine tasting event
  • The owner and employees are really down to earth and make you feel welcome no matter your wine expertise (or lack thereof). Lots of great, bold California reds, and good membership perks. There's a strong community feel about this place that makes it worth the drive down from the IE.
  • The staff is really friendly and the wine is good. I'm not a wine guy at all, but I had a great time during our tasting. Our tasting happened to be the day they got a shipment of grapes so there was all sorts of excitement and we got to see a lot of really cool behind-the-scenes action and even got to crush grapes!
