  • Beautiful vintage lighthouse overlooking Sodus Bay. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with flowers beds, benches to enjoy the lake view, and wildlife. We saw a group of baby groundhogs, and spotted a Baltimore Oriole!! Worth the trip!
  • The Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum is a beautiful location for watching the sunrise and the light cast across the lake makes for a beautiful view of the sunset as well. Of course different times of the year are better than others. In order to take wedding pictures here, you have to pay (or come during hours the museum is closed) It is a nice property to walk and is well maintained.

The lighthouse tower is a square, pyramidal cast iron tower on a concrete and stone pier. It is white with red trim. The lighthouse is owned by the Town of Sodus Point, New York. The lighthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places.
