  • Beautiful scenery, desert, grassy fields, cottonwoods along the river with stark mountains in the background, a 12 mile wildlife road with many stops along the way, it took us 4.5 hours to do the loop...  more »
  • Visited and did our own tour. Saw a javelina, sandhill cranes, and a great blue heron. The fall colors were nice as well. 
  • An awesome stop to, not only see some birds, but see some beautiful NM scenery. We really appreciated the variety of terrain, the knowledgeable park rangers, and the fact that it wasn't crowded. You can get some great pictures here while relaxing and enjoying the wildlife and scenery.
  • Lots of birds. Magnificent morning fly in worth getting up early for. Great tours & guides. Driving loop in our car made it easy to see birds and wildlife from a bobcat following a coyote to a roadrunner,Informative tour guides. Plan to attend for the third time.
  • Incredible nature refuge. It's best in the fall and spring when it is full of different types of animals but it's beautiful all year round.
