On 1,266 ha (3,128 acres) of land with a top elevation of 3,810 m (12,510 ft), Snowmass features skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking, biking, rafting, and fishing in the summer. It was late when we arrives so many of the shops were closed but I would have loved to go in them. They are located within walking of most of the properties in the area.

Huge mostly intermediate mountain with generally reliable snow. Fantastic place for the kids. Good (albeit expensive) ski school. Lots of ski-in, ski-out lodging.
