  • Smithville is a place that is relaxing and respectful on both sides of the coin. Great people, respectful people, great little ones there too. Animals are very friendly, I had a 6 month old dog come up to me and just sat right next to me like she was a human being just wanted to be loved. All kinds of shops, restaurants and ice cream shops. Pizza place there also. loved it, if I could give it a ten I would. To be funny also, we had a over sized duck just walk into one of the shops, didn't go after anyone, just walking around like if he'd was just looking to buy something. The owner was clapping her hands and he would walk out slowly and wait at the front door until he got a treat from the owner, funny as hell. I should of videoed it on you tube, it would of made at least 3,000 views easy.
  • Great place to visit and explore many great little stores. My favorite is A Tour of Italy bldg 10. You can browse forever and find treasures for yourself or buy some fantastic gifts. There are funny gifts, beautiful gifts, and everything you want to show your Italian or you just want to be Italian. This is by far my favorite store I have ever been in. Tina, the owner is a beautiful, personable young lady who will make your shopping and browsing trip an even greater experience. It's well worth the trip, you will become a regular.
  • I love this place it's perfect for all members of the family regardless of age. There's something to do for your children to engage in at any time of the year. Carousel games paddle boats or just a little bit of what young people can engage in. During the winter I know you're long you have train rides. You're the winner you get to enjoy the talking Christmas tree Santa Claus carolers Christmas tree light show on the lake. A fun time had by all. Enjoy walking through the Old Village as well as the new village with plenty of parking for either side enjoy walking over the wooden bridge that connects the two villages. Food can be found on both sides of Smithville you can even Lodge in the Old Village and have weddings at the barn which is a beautiful environment to enjoy country and allow your guest of the wedding or the wedding party to stay on location without worry of having to travel from one place to another before the Blessed event. Everyone is friendly and enjoyable you're very knowledgeable about what singer stores even pets are welcome.
  • Love this place, it's such a cute little town. They have a lot of cute little shops and restaurants. There are little ducks and chicken that are so cute. The only thing I wish they would do better is the mask mandate. Half of the people there don't wear masks when they see people around then wearing it and it's frustrating.
  • Wonderful place to shop. Very quaint town and cute shops. Loved looking in all the store for unique presents. Ducks walking around were entertaining to my daughter...she loved taking pictures of them and feeding them bread. The Bakery opened nice and early for a relaxing breakfast which include delicious pasteries.
