  • My girlfriend and I in our tour on the road we started from New Haven towards New York and decided to stop in this village location of the legendary Headless Horseman, true legend in america and also mentioned in the films of Tim Burton! The village of 1700 has a Gothic which makes it really impressive ... having been in early October they were decorating for Halloween ... I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area or how we have to go into the City.

  • The day was closed to visitors, so I didn't, but the street seemed nice and certainly is beautiful, rustic and old. Reminded me of the cover of a Black Sabbath album. Even without seeing recommend the visit because it is not far from Main Street.

  • Came here for the headless horseman's hollow haunted tour, and had a blast. Not going to lie, I was a little bit scared and the best part at the end was an exceptional treat for the eyes. A real live headless horseman was a sight I won't forget. Get there on time so you don't have to wait too long in line. Parking was really easy and free.
  • If I had actually been able to get there, perhaps I'd give it more than one star. However, we never made it thanks to ALL of Tarrytown being closed for a Halloween parade and everyone be routed in circles, unable to get to Sleepy Hollow. I anticipated we'd need to get there early for our 8:30 tickets, but we were in town around 5 and STILL couldn't make it! Locked in a circle of traffic for a good hour and a half before we gave up and headed back to Brooklyn. Maybe the good people who run the shows at Sleepy Hollow could give us a heads up that it would be damn near impossible to get there from the south on account of the parade. So I'm out $50 and did NOTHING for Halloween this year. Next time I'll find a haunt in Jersey.
  • Was a little bit disappointed that we didn't see more of the house!! Wanted to see the bedrooms/bathroom/kitchen and delivery tunnel but saw way to much art work!! If I wanted to see art I would have gone to art museum!!!!
  • The Haunted attraction was very theatrical. Not scary, but very well executed.
  • I love visiting this place and it doesn't matter which season! Such a peaceful, serene setting, just perfect to escape the city. They also hold fun events for all the family throughout the year.
