  • We loved seeing the museum and wanted to visit a 2nd time, but never had time to go back. It was pretty crowded with visitors from the cruise ships, so don't take strollers or packages. Nice gift shop...  more »
  • Just off the main street, easy to find and worth the visit. Lots of good info, some spectacular northern lights photos, and a well informed staff. A good place to spend an hour, and if it's raining......  more »
  • This is another place you can use the local bus to get to. Local history and events helpful staff and not too big.

  • A nice detour from all the shops while visiting Skagway. You can walk the entire museum in about 20 minutes or longer if you spend extra time with any of the exhibits. My son was given an Alaskan flag after completing a scavenger hunt for kids. Worth checking out. Small fee for adults($2)
  • For $2.00, it was the right price. Some really cool artifacts about the history of Skagway. There do seem to just be some random "old" things that aren't really connected to Skagway scattered throughout the exhibits.
  • Historically this is an AWESOME little Museum. Love the Bear and the goat, sooooo much history in such an easy place to visit. They are so full of information at the desk, visit before you take the White Pass RR trip, will mean sooo much more! Thank you City Of Skagway, we love coming here! A must to do in Skagway
  • As the complete street is known in less than 2 hours, I recommend that you enter the Museum and see the tools that were used in those times. You do it in less than 20 minutes
