  • This was an absolute hit with the kids. They liked all of the history and the fact that they could touch most of the boat controls and of course ring the bell!  more »

  • Very nice setting. Historical information related to Sioux City and the surrounding area was interesting and well presented. Our grandchildren enjoyed the exhibits. If you are physically challenged, the steep stairs to the upper levels may be too much for you. Overall a rewarding experience.
  • Very family friendly, peaceful, nd made me feel like, huh? Maybe the world isnt so bad!
  • Unexpected, but really enjoyed it with the family. Good gift shop area.
  • If you like history and you like free. You will enjoy this.
  • We stopped here while passing through, just looking for a bathroom. This is a really nice museum set up in a restored riverboat. Lots of ship models and informative displays. Small museum shop. The staff was friendly and helpful, loading us up with a staggering number of brochures about other Iowa attractions. We didn't stop anywhere else, but this place was a really pleasant surprise.
