  • There is a short climb to reach the ridge than it level to the Tower. When Its open you can climb the stairway to the top for 360 degree view of the Farmington Valley  more »
  • We enjoyed our hike and loved the views when we reached the summit. We were fascinated by the house that was built on the mountain. Very interesting.  more »
  • The hike to the tower is relatively easy and suitable for most everyone. The views from the tower are spectacular! On a clear day you can easily see as far as Springfield, MA  more »

  • Easy 40 minute hike to the tower. Gorgeous vantage points along the trail. Good for an early cool summer morning hike. Expect to see a good number of people if you plan to go in the afternoon on weekends.
  • Great local trail. You can sneak your dogs off leash up the blue trail since foot traffic is low there. Yellow trail is easy for non-hikers.
  • We saw a lot of cars at the parking lot, but were surprised to not see nearly as many folks on the trail as we would have expected. The hike starts off quite steep, but the majority of it is quite casual and relaxing. Beautiful 360 views of the valley and picnicking areas up top at the tower for use.
  • We had a blast! What an amazing view too. Beginner at hiking and almost kept going by when I seen how far the tower was in the mountain. So greatful I did it!
  • Beautiful park at which to go for a hike. And there is an incredible view of the city from the top of the tower! Absolutely gorgeous place :)
