  • Lovely hike on a Sunday morning. Takes about 25 minutes to get to the top from parking area. Nice views of Farmington Valley from the top. Nice souvenir shop so take your wallet, but shop is only open...  read more »
  • Great hike up and very cool old house. Hard to imagine family lived up there. We love CT in the fall and this afternoon hike was great.

  • Fu place to spend an afternoon. Great access to trails for hiking and tough mtn biking, and the Farmington River for swimming.
  • Went to the tower trail. Steep hike up, great for a quick leg/cardio workout. Lots of vistas off of the trails. Beautiful scenery. Tower was under construction during my visit but beautiful nonetheless!
  • Great views over the Farmington valley from the ridge. Hike to Hüblein Tower is relatively short and the tower itself is closed too often.
  • Take a hike to the former weekend and holiday retreat of the Heublein family (Heublein liquors) and the striking Heublein Tower. Visible for miles around, the views from the top of the tower are breath-taking, in any season.
  • Nice place and great views for the amount of hiking effort. Only 4 stars because it can get very crowded there. Tower is fun to visit and climb.
