Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, Washington is an indoor shopping mall with 110 retail stores. Anchor tenants include JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, Dick's sporting goods, and Kohl's. The mall is managed and owned by Starwood Capital Group.HistoryAfter many years of planning, Kitsap Mall opened in August 1985. As a result the retail core of Kitsap County was shifted from Bremerton, Washington to the Silverdale area. The mall's original anchors were Lamonts, Sears, and The Bon Marche. Later in the decade, and after much success, Kitsap Mall nearly doubled in size, adding Mervyns in 1988 and JCPenney in the 90's, while The Bon Marche was expanded to the east, nearly doubling its size. In 2000, Lamonts became Gottschalks. The Bon Marche was re-branded under the Macy's name plate, first as Bon-Macy's in 2003, becoming Macy's in 2005. In 2006, Kitsap Mall received a big change as Gottschalks closed down. The building housed Gottschalks was torn down and replaced by a new building, which now houses Barnes & Noble and Cost Plus World Market. In 2007, Mervyns closed down. It has been replaced by a new building for Kohl's. In 2008, Hollister Co. opened in a location formerly occupied by the Disney store. Hale's Aleshouse opened in the former location of Champ's Sports in Kitsap Mall in 2010. Remodelling of the mall's façade and interior was performed in 2011 through 2012. In June 2013, Kitsap Mall and its surrounding properties (NorthPoint, Kitsap Place) were bought by Starwood Capital Group from Macerich.

  • nice place to go for a lot of things. parking lot is the short cuts for getting to and from various locations. kinda weird, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.
  • Nothing exciting, just a simple mall. It did have a watch repair show. The person there was friendly and helpful.
  • I live in Kitsap County, and as such I like to try and shop local. Having just said this, this mall does not have as much selection as the malls in the larger population areas of Tacoma or Seattle... ...  read more »
  • Very nice for its size. My grandkids enjoy the play area. It's a fun place to chase them around. And dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the variety of options was beyond what I expected.
  • Really improved lately, especially after they kicked all the poor people out by moving their busstop. But thats ok, I enjoy it in there, after all, I have a car.
  • The small sucks! There's hardly any stores at all! And all the good ones closed, and No food court... and they put a desperate attempt for an overpriced restaurant inside. My friends family and I used to enjoy this mall. Now we go to Northgate. The picture illustrated in this review is completely empty now with empty stores all around. Very sad a wonderful place not to go
  • I'm disappointed in the food court. More pricey restruants going in. I was liking the simpler places like Subway & Cinnion Bun. I will enjoy the restraunts but I can't & don't always want to endulge in a full out huge meal. Having a cheaper quicker option is nice too. I still have hope for this place though
  • After they updated the place, it just has a really good feel to it. And it seems really clean. Although I wish they hadn't taken the food court out.
