  • This is a beautiful place to spend a day. The lake is awesome, hiking is great, and there are facilities, too. Definitely recommended!  more »
  • My 5 night stay @ the park was terrific. The park is beautifully maintained. The staff was great. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Center Hill Lake is the centerpiece and it is a natural beauty. I...  more »

  • Sitting on my balcony of C-1 condo (they call it a cabin) at this very moment. Love the little split level 1 br 1 bath condo over looking trees and the pool in the near distance. Not fancy but for the money it is a great bargain only 4 miles off I40 East of Nashville. I would stay here again! Quiet and peaceful.
  • Stayed in one of the accessible cabins. Very nice, spacious rooms. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms, cableTV, stove, refrigerator and microwave. There's a swimming pool (no lifeguard) with a lift and a fire pit area.
  • I booked a cabin strictly for a weekend of fishing. This was my first time visiting Edgar Evans State Park and I truly enjoyed my time here. The only thing that was sub-par would be accessing the lake from the cabin site. There are no trails so it makes for a bit of an adventure to find your way to the lake. You will encounter lots of large and unstable, slippery rocks which would make it difficult to navigate your way and virtually impossible to get to if you are handicapped. Aside from that, Edgar is a wonderful place to visit, relax, meditate, read, hike, fish etc...I will be going back but truthfully, I will not be walking from my cabin to the lake during my next visit.. It is extremely difficult to take a selfie when you are alone but truthfully, because of the rugged terrain to get to the lake, my Fiancee made the wise choice not to hike down there with me...
  • Nicest State park that I've been to since I've lived in TN. Lots of shaded picnic tables by the lake, nice bathrooms, wasn't crowded when we went, nice campground/rv sites. Pretty much like everything about it.
  • We came here on a camping trip for my birthday, and the park is just exquisite. Not too busy or crowded, lovely views, and plenty to do. We'll be back!
