Noted for its wide stretch of white sand, Siesta Beach is lapped by the calm Gulf of Mexico waters. Located just minutes from Sarasota, the beach features public restrooms, snack bars, picnic shelters, gazebos, volleyball courts, and showers. The powdery sand never gets too hot for a walk, so you can intersperse your dips in the gentle waves with long walks along the water's edge. Lifeguards patrol the beach all year, every day of the week, making this one of the safest spots for visitors of all ages and swimming abilities. Parking can become a challenge as the day goes on. PutSiesta Beach into our Siesta Key holiday website and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

What to say about the Siesta Beach Pavilion? Great alternative to access Siesta Key Beach without parking so close to the main Pavilion. It is smaller but has it's own access to the beach. Only drawback is to have to go to the bathroom on the main Pavilion.

Food ok. Service ok. “Bartender” has no clue how to identify real out of state IDs when presented. Surprised there isn’t actual training since this is a huge tourist spot.

My kids love this park! Plus the gorgeous beach

One of my favorite location on the beach to photograph families and couples.

I saw a man in a purple shirt that works at this establishment yell at a young child playing music with his uncle and he made the kid cry. Never coming back. What a horrible man.
