Fun walk with lots of wildlife. The history of the old structure and gigantic tree is also fascinating. The trails are well maintained and are mostly shaded. The walk on the trails is easy for young children or those with health issues.

Great place for an easy hike. Caught some hummingbird banding going on and my son got to carry one from the trap to the workspace. Ample parking, restrooms available and a gift shop resides in the house. Noticed a lot of bird watchers frequent this place. Its a short walk to the river. Nice place to soak in a little history and wilderness.

We love going here to "hike" with our four year old. Beautiful trails, lots of birds. Do watch out for the rattlesnakes!

I loved walking through the preserve-beautiful sights and sounds of the San Pedro river with lots of wildlife. Very true to nature. A tranquil, peaceful experience. Be weary of the bird watchers though, all the ones I encountered were terribly rude.
