  • Very nice museum with many artifacts as well as historical facts of the area. Fort has been restored and well maintained.
  • A nice little fort to visit. Come and see the old barracks, and trading post if you are in the area. It won't take a long time, as it's quite small, but it's worth a look.

  • One of the best places in the Kansas City area to visit. Good 1/2 day trip. Not only is the fort very nice, the museum is wonderful!! Much historic information about Native American history in the area. Not only Osage Indian history, but pre-historic history of this part of Missouri. I think that people are really missing out by not seeing this site. If you like history, you must see..........
