  • This is an Arizona state park, which has an admission of about $7.50 if you don't have an annual pass. It is well worth the price. There is fishing, camping, ramadas, hiking trails and more.  more »

  • As I was visiting the area I asked around and everyone recommended Fool Hollow Lake. I drove out to it and it was kind of hard to see the lake from the parking area due to all the trees, and that is a good thing. Found lots of good parking and it was clustered around nice covered areas with lots of tables, grills and serving area for parties and group events. Then I found the walking, biking, jogging paths...these are very nice and well marked. The I could spot the floating fishing piers. The fishing spots were great and gave a good view of the lake. I also found a fish cleaning area, very nice touch. I had a great time at this lake, was a nice way to spend my day.
  • Great place to spend a few days. We had a nice spot by the lake. Took afternoon walk by around the lake. Trail was well maintained and paved in parts. The hookups were well placed and easy to back in. Will likely be back.
  • There is a nice lake in the area with boats and kayaks for rent (or you can bring your own). There are real toilets and showers a short walk away as well. A playground for the kids to burn some energy and the campsites themselves are very nice. We were able to get two 4 person and an 8 person tent set up.
  • Large park by the lake. Beautiful views and lots of hiking trails. Playground overlooking the lake, available for the kids. Different size ramadas available to picnic or BBQ. We had fun fishing off of one of the many small lake overlooks. Great place to spend a day with family.
  • The Lake is beautiful and the RV/campground is nice. The sites are large and groomed. However some are 2 in 1 sites. This is great for friends but when two strangers are parked on top of one another it feels cramped. We were lucky and had a nice young family next to us. But, I can imagine this would not always be the case. I felt we inadvertently were slightly ruining each others experience. The website is clear and the dual sites are marked so pay attention when reserving your site. The campground was full when we reserved our site and so we chanced it. No regrets. I really enjoyed the path around the lake and viewing the wildlife. Be out at sunrise and watch nature do her thing. There are many types of birds and inquisitive squirrels every where. We are looking to go back in the Spring.
