  • Don't live in the area but love to visit when I can. Indoor outdoors plants are very healthy and reasonably priced. Great place for gift buying and plant buying. Always find something to but!
  • Had a fun time here gathering pumpkins, smelling delightful room sprays and shopping other gift items. Al's friendly helpful service shone again. Can't wait for annual Light Festival at Sherwood store...  more »
  • I have found all the plant nurseries in the area to have some things that are worthwhile to me. Portland Nursery, Joy Creek, Cistus, Means, Tsugawa, Al's, and don't forget Watershed Garden Works in Lo...  more »

  • I feel good just being here and always find an excuse for juuuust 5 more minutes. If people say their stock is limited, I highly doubt they've truly walked around both the interior and exterior. And since the staff is so friendly and helpful—just ask! Join their rewards club to earn bucks toward your purchases :)
  • Selection is not much better than Home Depot or Fred Myers. But of course, higher priced. Disappointing. If you are looking for unusual plants, doubtful that you will find any here. Staff was polite but we're no more knowledgeable than clerks at the big box grocery or hardware stores. Isolated location. Much of acreage was without any plants.
  • Super helpful staff! I called in to ask a question about my tree and Eric was very knowledgeable about what to do and even had home remedies I could try! Thank You!!
  • Just wanted to note on here, that Al's is currently open 9 am to 6 pm every day NOT 7 pm. They have their accurate hours listed on their Al's Garden Center website and their Facebook page! :) Also many people have been asking about the bare land surrounding Al's store, it does not belong to Al's, it is the old Fisher Farms property which has moved. Don't worry, Al's farms are located elsewhere and full of plants!
  • The staff is not helpful!!! They know well in advance when the annual tomato sale is going to be. I work long hours and weekends, If I know in advance I can arrange time off. Tried calling ahead, but they will not tell you until The day of sale I missed out!!! And I am a card holder too
