  • Skyland is a nice stop on Skyline Drive. There is lodging, a campground, picnic area, overlooks and a restaurant and gift shop. There's bathroom facilities and a visitor center. Also a nice coffee...  more »
  • Had a delicious lunch here on my trip to skyline drive the other day. I had the Nashville chicken and a bowl of the vegetarian chili. Both were very tasty. The dining room is spacious with great views of the mountains and service was prompt and courteous.
  • This place goes back for me as a child, I worked there as well for good many years. My family has worked there as well. The history and the views just get better every time. Each time you go its always different so make it a must to specially in the fall its breath taking.
  • This place is amazing. The views are spectacular and the office staff are wonderful. Patty was able to help us with finding the perfect room for my family! Highly recommend this beautiful area in the Shenandoah!
  • Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. A cool reprieve from the overheated DC area! Wish there were a few more activities in the evening for young children. There could be dance lessons in the conference hall and a campfire with s'mores in addition to the musician with a guitar (3 options spread throughout the property). This would also provide more opportunities to socialize with other families. It would also be great to have a game room for kids in the main lodge.
  • Very clean rooms and gorgeous view. This is the hottest day in the DC metro yet it's at least 10 degrees cooler up here. Beautiful bikes within minutes of the resort.
