  • As all Shenandoah park places this one is another beautiful and relatively easy trail with some challenge when starting to climb on the winding uphill. Some nice walk along the creek, nice forest and a hike uphill makes for a great hike.
  • All downhill to waterfall so then uphill on way back. The trail leads to the bottom of giant waterfall so go all the way down for a great view. There was a medium sized one before the big one. If parking lot is full can park blackrock and walk on trail to here.
  • First time hiker and I did the shorter trail within 2 hours. Very moderate trail and you will cross a stream of water here and there. Beautiful cascades and waterfalls! Would definitely go back!
  • Nice moderate hike. Easy enough for ages 6 and older. I think it was about 1.5 miles down to the falls. You can even venture down to the Doyle falls which should be 3.1 miles down (total).
  • Recommend doing circuit backwards then sign at beginning of trail for an easier hike. 6.5 miles to see three amazing waterfalls can easily do in 4 hours with many stops. One of the most beautiful hikes in Shenandoah, you get rough terrain, steep inclines, and all along the water.
