The Yellow Barn at Shenandoah Caverns Reviews
The Yellow Barn is not the big attraction when visiting the caverns, but has some pretty neat things to see: antique carriages and farm equipment. You are on your own walking through this building. Ad... more »
This was part of the Caverns admission. I wouldn't pay for it separately. It's quick. Maybe 20 minutes to walk around. There are bathrooms. Not much to do/see. Bring a quarter to turn on trains. more »
This part of your visit to Shenandoah caverns is included in the cost of your ticket to the caverns! This yellow barn contains all the tractors and vehicles, and carriages from long ago. If you're int... more »
Great old vehicles and look up for the trains! Read about the bees ...
Anything that's educational and well maintained such as this is getting 5 stars from me. We stopped here after the cave tour to check it out. They have a live beehive inside that the kids spent most of their time at watching the bees work away. The collection is of random well preserved antiques. I honestly enjoyed all of it and would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
This is one of those places that you hear about and aren't quite sure why they exist. It's quite weird. Admission is free. The place has a lot of older farm equipment to look at along with plenty of odds and ends. There's a stage so apparently they have live music at times. Google lists it as a wedding venue, but I can't imagine anyone getting married here. We stopped here since it's part of a trio of buildings tied to the Shenandoah caverns, but there wad nothing at the yellow barn of interest to myself or my kids.
Nice place with a few nice things to see.
We had our wedding at this location and it was perfect. Emma was extremely helpful and flexible in helping us out. We couldnt have asked for anything else. The location is wonderful and an experience itself.
