  • This is a fun way to spend a few hours. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. It is about a mile walk and it is cool. I would recommend this attraction.
  • This is a nature's marvel. A must see for everyone. The tickets are expensive but it is worth it. Very popular tourist place so expect large number of visitors & long queues
  • I was very impressed. The caverns are beautiful! A must see. There is an elevator, the tour is about 1 mile of walking. It is cool, i was glad i had my jacket. My kids age 10 and 8 loved it.
  • Very beautiful views of the caverns! Just go to the caves, do not waste time on gift shop as the souvenirs are over over priced. It's 50 degrees in the caves so bring a coat or light jacket to keep yourself warm as I didn't and felt quite cold even though I run every day and have a very high metabolism. My favorite part was the diamond glistening rock which is really awesome! I said "awesome sauce..."
  • We visited Shenandoah Caverns last Sunday, it was fantastic to see these beautiful stones in the formation with fairy lights. In the middle of the visit, my 5-year-old daughter felt she wanted to go to restroom, yet the guide was leading a group of more than 30 people, and there is no restroom under ground. After knowing the need, the guide immediately called a staff member on the ground, who came to help us very soon. We felt very good when we followed the staff member back to the ground. Thank you so much!!
  • This place was amazing! I myself am a nature lover and to all my fellow granola bars this is a must see! The staff was awesome and super informative! I'd recommend this to anyone.
  • This place was an interesting stop. We chose this over the other popular establishment because it was on the way and fairly close to the highway. The caverns themselves wind around so you are doing a lot of loops. I wonder if the other competitor is larger and more robust. This is a walking tour so you have to move on with the group even if you aren't ready to go. Overall it was value for the money. The only thing i would give one star to is the gift shop/main lobby. They don't really sell a lot of "cavern" themed items. Granted there are some stones you can buy. But the place seemed more like a hodge podge of crap. Literally there was a bowl with plastic colored diamonds. Something you might find in a kids party favor bag that you bought for 10 cents and they were trying to sell them for $5. They had pocket knives that I know are $7-10 on Amazon and they were trying to sell them for $30. Even little plastic cars, no "Caverns" logo or anything for $5. The gift shop is honestly a total waste of money. Go for the cavers then leave.
  • A nice place to visit. However, it seems a little bit overpriced to me, once the cave is not that big and the rock formations look all the same. They have a good giftshop but there's no place to eat around
