Shenandoah Caverns Reviews
We were the only ones on our cavern tour, which was pretty cool. Tour guide was knowledgeable and pretty chill. Cavern was on the smaller side, compared to Luray nearby, but it had its little wonders ... more »
This is a good tour to take and see the sights of nature at work. We appreciated the elevator and really enjoyed our young tourguide. I definitely recommend seeing this cave. more »
Our family loves caverns! We have visited maybe a dozen over the years to varying degrees of enjoyment. We chose to visit Shenandoah Caverns using a Groupon and expected to have fun, but not be overly... more »
Great guide Brandon, great tour of the caverns. Take pictures, you'll see incredible details when you get home! The cafe made us custom grilled cheese sandwiches to go with our soup. Do the whole complex. Visit the American Celebration and the Yellow Barn. Take time and read the captions. The Rose Bowl Parade will be seen in a new light. (Thanks to Earl Hargrove, Jr. for having the vision ...)
Nice short cute little tour. Cavern is beautiful. All the tour guides and staff were super nice friendly and funny. We came last minute as a spontaneous trip after seeing a groupon for the caverns. We loved it. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive.
We visited in mid February. One of the best caves that I have visited. The staff was very professional and friendly. The Main Street Yesteryear window displays were an added bonus. We also had a good lunch in their 50's cafe. Our's was a wonderful visit and I definitely recommend a visit here.
The place is awesome going down into the cavern is great enough, the tour guides are informative and Charming. The cavern is beautiful. Then right next door is a giant grizzly animatronic. Right down the road is the yellow barn a shopping place and right across from that is the national float Museum. Lots to do for one day down in that area. Great place to visit.
Wonderful place to visit. Props to Patricia our tour guide for the caverns. She did a wonderful job and really helped us enjoy the place. The gift shop is well stocker with both standard tourist gifts and exclusives for the Shenandoah Caverns. It's got interesting history. Only closed on Christmas Day or for inclement weather.
