  • Lots of things to see, do, and just be at this wonderful farm. Fresh food to buy ( the corn you purchase was probably on the stalk the morning of purchase ), many interesting ideas for home decor...

  • We went Saturday for their 🌻 sunflower festival. What a beautiful tucked away spot! We had a fantastic time! The flowers were gorgeous.. the little store on site had fruits and vegetables and gifts candles crafts AND apple cider donuts! Delicious! We picked our own sunflowers and as we were leaving we ran into the owner closing up shop; we stood and talked to him for pretty good while what a friendly down to earth person! He even gave us a ride back to our car across the field in his golf cart 🀩 certainly worth the drive from valley station to Shelbyville. They are starting their Fall festival next weekend that runs into October and we definitely are planning to go back πŸŽƒπŸπŸ‚πŸŒ»πŸŽπŸ¦‹πŸπŸ©πŸŒžπŸ’―
  • Had a fabulous time at the Sunflower & Corn festival!Festival! Rode the train a dozen times, got beautiful flowers, the corn was delicious, and we even fed the goats! They also had slides, go karts and a pillow jump for slightly older kiddos. Highly recommend!
  • An excellent family experience, very kid friendly with a varied selection of activities. My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her day here, especially the corn pit. $16 includes most activities. Only if you will be doing activities do you need to pay, admittance and wandering is free. Food services was closed however food trucks were on site.
  • Such a fun and festive afternoon! We got several good pumpkins and at a good price at 49Β’ per pound! There are plenty of food options (kettle corn, tacos, bbq, and more). Two slides, an obstacle course, a corn maze, a haunted house, apple cannons, a petting zoo (featuring a cow, some goats, some sheep, and some rabbits). We spent several hours walking around and enjoying the activities. All in all an excellent visit with friendly staff and lots to do!
  • Gallrein Farms is awesome. It's a working farm that does events throughout the year. During the fall they have the pumpkin patch, which is pretty large. They have lots of things for kids to do like pet the horses, feed sheep, goats and cows. There are sack slides, a corn maze, corn pit, kiddie train, haystack mountain, several food areas, a store and all kinds of other entertainment. They amazing apple cider doughnuts. My family go at least twice a year. They now have a Festival with a field of sunflowers you can pick in September. It's a great place to take the kids for pictures.
