  • Stony Creek is a great park to visit to ride a bike, hang out on the beach by the lake, play with your kids in wide open spaces. If you get a chance to visit, you should!  more »
  • This metro park gets very crowded at the peak of summer, so we enjoy it more in the early spring and fall. The bike/walking/skating trail rings the lake and takes about two hours to walk. Lots of scen...  more »
  • Our favorite place in our area. We visited here in February when the weather broke. It's so special and nice to go over there and feel like we got away even though we are only a mile or so away from h...  more »
  • I've loved the park since I was little. There's plenty of things to do from easy to difficult biking trails, great nature trails and a multitude of scenic walking paths to beaches with a large waterside, boat rental and golfing.
  • This place has it all for those that enjoy the outdoors. Swimming, hiking, biking, and even circuit training! I ride the road around the lake all the time and I will occasionally encounter drivers who aren't so kind to bikers by not give the appropriate space. But I am constantly see metropark police circling the loop and I feel safe.
  • Awesome place. They have so many pavilions that you can rent, and often times if you just drive around a little you can find one that no one has reserved. Different areas of the park offer many different things like basketball courts, baseball diamonds as well as a bike trail around the entire park. Would recommend to everyone.
  • My hands down favorite metro park! Almost 5,000 acres to explore with every kind of wildlife imaginable! Talking crows, Bald eagles, osprey, turkeys, deer and more! Miles upon miles of beautiful trails, and the campground is my absolute favorite as well. Every type of campsite imaginable is available for every type of camper! Their nature center is impressive, along with the staff and events they offer. The facilities are also extremely well maintained, cleanest bathrooms of any park I've ever been to. And g Absolutely recommend you take a trip and enjoy everything the park has to offer!
  • Loved coming here! I had an amazing weekend here w my bf and friends. The showers were a nice things to have after a swim.
