  • Right now, it's mostly a great place for music t-shirts and a history lesson, but we were told they are renovating to start recording again! You really need to watch the Muscle Shoals Documentary to r...  more »
  • If you find yourself in this area, it's worth a trip. Interesting facts about FAME studios, Alabama artists and some cool displays.
  • At the time of my visit, they were preparing to restore the studio to it's original look. It is an awesome place to visit especially since so much classic music was recorded there. Get a T-shirt!

  • One of the studios that has contributed so much to Rock N Roll. Rolling Stones recorded Brown Sugar and Wild Horses here. Unfortunately the studio was closed for renovation when I visited so only got to see the gift shop.
  • Very nice studio, renovations are looking good. Very clean. Great merchandise. Actual studio closed for remodeling.
  • Hard to believe this humble non-descript building is where The Rolling Stones band recorded ''Brown Sugar'', ''Wild Horses'' and Fred McDowell's ''You gotta Move'' back in late 1969 for the best album of the 1970's---Sticky Fingers.
  • You should definitely make a stop in and visit before the Beats Audio Foundation turns it back into a working studio. Not to be missed.
  • A piece of music history that remains unchanged to this day
