  • Beautiful campus with friendly people, and an excellent education steeped in tradition... What more could anyone want from a university? Wish I could have a "do-over" and go back to school here! Bette...  more »
  • What a beautiful campus! A friend gave me a tour of the chapel and the grounds. The choir was practicing in the chapel, so that was a special treat -- beauty and music together!  more »
  • What a wonderful stop off of hwy 65. The campus is breathtaking and if you continue on you will find the darling town of Sewanee.  more »

  • One of the most beautiful University Chapels in the United States and perhaps the finest. Magnificent campus. An exceptional institution with superb English and Environmental/ Earth Studies departments. The School of Theology is the only graduate school and provides an overarching sense of stewardship that the entire school buys into. A surprising number of Rhodes Scholars churned out of there.
  • I've never been to a more beautiful college campus. Meeting the alumni and seeing the depth and breadth of their education makes me regret attending a large state university. I will be encouraging my own children to attend a small liberal-arts school like Sewanee.
  • I have read other reviews and it sound like a great college with good professors yet it also could be labeled as a "party college" which seems to be a problem but the classes and school itself sound very advanced
  • Our younger son attended Sewanee, University of the South, graduating May 2016. He's living here until spring 2017 because it is now his home.
  • I done the inventory in the university and it was beautiful and employees was great and very nice
