  • I first visited the museum back in 2008 on my wedding weekend. I finally got the chance to take the kids to see it when we were in Gatlinburg. They loved it! Heck, I loved it! Being a huge fan of avia...  more »
  • The museum is separated in two parts, the typical museum section with displays, timelines and historical info of flight and planes; all neatly done & displayed. The second part is in the old hangar. D...  more »
  • Was a rainy day so we decided to do "indoor" things. Went to this museum as my husband is very interested in older war planes. We entered the museum and were the only people there. We had a one on one...  more »

  • Had flown in and was interested in going to the museum, but was run off when I walked up to see a plane in the parking lot, a woman that came out told me that I couldn't even be on the tarmac without paying for the museum, no greeting, nothing. Which I was interested in doing until the unfriendly encounter.
  • Love this museum! very thankful that they keep 2 p-47 thunderbolts flying!!! Some items and aircraft don't have information explaining what it is or why its historic, so be sure to get a tour for the best experience! also to those who plan to fly in they let you park on there ramp in front of the museum.
  • Good variety of planes in various conditions , but not necessarily a great cohesive story. Feels a bit like a yard sale with not a ton of info for each plane. A bit pricey given its size.
  • Fabulous! I discovered the museum by following the P-47 Thunderbolt "Hun Hunter" in flight from Gatlinburg to Sevierville. Several fantastic aircraft on display - a realreal treasure trove for me, a WWII aviation nut. We got to meet Hun Hunter's owner pilot, and dozens of other WWII pilot vets at a ceremony they were having. There's also a PBY Catalina here.
  • Smallish. Takes as long as you want it to take... Small area indoors. A hanger full of awesome planes and some lovely old cars. Restrooms clean. Nice gift shop. Was $12.99 a person. A bit price price for a mid sized family. Great for the guys in my family.
