  • Best experience ever! We are from Florida and moved to North Carolina about 4 months ago, so we've been to many different zoo in our life time especially because I have a 7 year old son who loves animals. We had such an Amazing experience, all the workers are just so sweet and amazing. Feeding all the animals and learning about them was just such a great experience. I will definitely be back with my family from Florida when they come up to visit next month. We also did the 45min horse ride and it was very adventurous, they made us feel safe the whole time, everything was well worth the price. Thank you for such a great time. We hope to see you again soon. ❤️🙏
  • It was a very cute park. Decent prices. My girls had a lot of fun. Animals looked well taken care of and had lots of fresh water. The workers there were EXTREMELY nice and the pony rides were perfect for my little ones. Highly recommended.
  • Beautiful, peaceful trail for a family of 5 to take a horseback ride. Our youngest is 8 and had never ridden before and had no problem. Our guide Anna was very sweet. Horses looked well taken care of, were gentle, and beautiful.
  • So much fun to get up close with the animals. To hand feed camels, zebras, llamas, goats, horses, pigs, and pet kangaroos, and hold baby goats was as much fun for the adults as the kids! Prices very reasonable, and staff is super friendly!
  • This zoo has the potential to be exceptional, but we were pretty disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly, and it was awesome to feed the animals, but it seemed as though none of them were educated on how to properly take care of the animals. The place was a mess, the animals seemed mistreated and under-nurtured, and we even personally witnessed neglect. The skin and fur on the reindeer looked like it had been SINGED. The animals literally ran away from the staff as they tried to clean their hooves (which had no shoes on them, and we could tell they were hurt). The fur on all of the animals was excessively dirty and matted, and they were all practically living in their own feces. It's as if they haven't ever even been inspected. We could tell that the animals were miserable, there was no food or water in any of the cages, and there was no one to nurture the baby reindeer that had just been born. As I mentioned, the zoo has the potential to be great, but it broke my heart to see those animals in such poor condition.
