  • My family bought a Groupon deal for this place. Knowing that most places in Pigeon Forge are tourist traps, I had low expectations. Boy was I glad to be wrong! RainForest Adventures is actually quite nice. They do not have an overwhelming number of animals, but what they do have, are kept up nice. Animals were active and kids loved the feeding area. Enclosures were clean with a lot of staff on hand to answer questions. For kids aged 2-10, this is DEFINITELY worth your time. Was very impressed and will be back next year.
  • Great zoo for all ages. They have mostly small animals inside, with a petting/feeding area outside that has sheep, goats and emus. Place was very clean and easy to walk through. Price is very reasonable. Definitely worth a trip if you have kids that love small animals or feeding the above mentioned larger ones.
  • I cannot in good conscience give this attraction a positive review. The condition in which these animals are kept is deplorable. While the animals appear to be well-fed, in many of the habitats I saw no clear evidence of fresh, clean drinking water. The habitats are overcrowded as evidenced by the behavior of many of the animals - overly aggressive, agitated, and extremely restless. There is the problem of mice running freely throughout the facility. I literally saw a child chasing a mouse trying to catch it (who very nearly did catch it), not to mention an overpopulation of mice in habitats where feeder mice are not needed, e.g. birds who eat primarily fruit and seeds. I, too, saw the giant cockroaches that other reviews have mentioned. Many of the animals look sick or at the very least lethargic. One emu I saw had a huge gash on it's neck that looked infected. When I mentioned this to an employee, she said they were aware of it and giving the emu medication; but that particular habitat was one of great concern. The animals were drinking water from a mud puddle below a run-off pipe. The facility as well as the habitats are in a state of disrepair and filthy. No animal deserves to live its life in this way.
  • Great price. Nice people. A little small. Need more animals. Bigger ones would be great. Great for smaller kids just watch the outside animals they do bite.
  • This is one of the coolest places I have ever been. It reminds me of me when I was really young. Once you walk into this amazing rainforest your will not want to come out. You are greeting by an amazing staff and a gift shop, prices are very reasonable for what you get. You get to meet and see over 150 animals, from monkeys to snakes to goats. Oh btw they have this petting zoo that allows you to great and love on Donkeys, Goats, and other adorable animals. It took us over an hour to go through it and it was a great experience. One of my favorite parts was when the Parrots greeted me by saying hello and I love you. This was a wonderful experience and I recommend everyone try it.
