Hillside Winery, Sevierville
(4.1/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
You might not expect a slice of Italy in Tennessee, but you'll find one at Hillside Winery, which specializes in Italian-style and sparkling wines. Take a tour to learn about the winemaking process, from crushing the fruit to bottling the finished wine. Then experience a tasting session with the wines produced on site, such as the bubbly muscadine frizzante, the dry Zinfandel, the semisweet raspberry blush, and the sweet Vino rosso. You can purchase wine at the store along with other local produce, such as Sweetwater Valley cheeses and sausages. • Smells amazing as your pulling up! Wines are delicious! Stop by for a free wine tasting! They were very nice and informative about the wines.
  • Had a great time tasting the wine and being able to see the wine room right behind you. The decor in the tasting room was very pretty and the wine was fantastic. Our tasting guide was a very nice gentleman and explained everything well. We ended up buying from there because their wine is really good. We actually ended up going BACK the next day to buy from the gift shop. They had a lot to chose from in the shop. The older woman who served as a hostess was a very sweet woman.
