  • So far, this is my favorite place in Oklahoma to take my kids. It is educational, fun, cheap, not crowded and well-done!!! My kids like 70% of the exhibits which is a way higher percentage than at usu...  more »

  • Our kids loved it. Very hands on, lots of variety, and set up very well. Great place to spend a day with small children, especially on a bad weather day, although they do have a small train out back.  more »

  • Tons of hands on activities for kids but there's not much in educational value. One room had information about the exhibits but everything else was basically just a big play ground. One employee was incredibly rude and pretty much guaranteed that I will never go back. She acted like we were an inconvenience by being there. I'm glad we went the once and I do suggest that you plan on spending the entire day there. For a small facility, there is a lot to do. I just don't know if I can justify going back when there are other museums, with considerate staff members, that I can take my kids to.
  • The most appealing part of Jasmine Moran is that it is directed toward small children. We have been to many museums that catered to toddlers or preschool aged children in three or four exhibits but also cater to a wider range of ages, even adults. Toddlers can get restless or uninterested in these situations, at times even upset that they're unable to get out and get hands on, so driving nearly two hours so that they could truly participate in every exhibit was going to be well worth it, we thought. Upon arriving, our two and four year olds were so excited to start trying all the areas out. A light bright wall, pretend grocery shopping, a fire truck, foam blocks- all perfect for small children. So why the two star review? Two reasons. One being that the facility has many run down areas. Dirty manipulatives, foul odors and broken parts are just a few things we noticed. The bigger reason though is that there were about 60 summer camp kids, aged about 6-12 but most looked at least 10, running around taking over. We could only identify TWO staff members in the entire museum- the one at admissions and a teenager in one exhibit area. These kids were too old to be learning anything new at this museum and many were instead rough housing and acting out. Our smaller children could not even do anything because every area was clogged up with these kids. A couple much bigger boys even pushed our 4 year old out of their way. We felt like we could barely let our 2 year old down to play for fear that he would be stepped on! No one was making sure rules were followed. No one was monitoring the stations. It was a chaotic mess. An insane free-for-all. We left after only 2 hours. We payed to watch out-of-control kids run wild all over, yell insults at each other and take full advantage of the fact that no one was supervising. The museum either needs to have more staff and limit the size of groups or have certain days for school/camp groups so that others can avoid going on those days. We would try to go back but we have no guarantee that we wouldn't end up in the same situation again. It was highly disappointing and a complete waste of money. I will not be recommending the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum to any other parents.
  • The kids would enjoy this EVERY day. And you don't have to worry about the weather because most of it is inside!
  • Fantastic fun over the years. They have an amazing egg hunt event which is very popular. Always spend several hours rediscovering the various areas.
  • My grand children had a wonderful time. Like the openess of it.
