  • All indications were that they would be open, but they were not. Looked ok outside but need to update their information.
  • Would recommend the Old Depot Museum to anyone with an interest in Selma's history. The staff was extremely welcoming and courteous.
  • This is an outstanding museum with a lot of artifacts. There are so many pieces from various eras of Selma and the citizens that lived there. Plan on about two hours to take your time and really enjoy...  more »
  • Selma's history runs deeper than just the Civil Rights movement. The items on display span the life of this great city. The renovations to the building will take you back in time and make the museum seem alive. The back yard has an old caboose and old foundry items. Also out back, a wonderful display of the old Fire Department tools, pumps and trucks. It is well worth the money and time and a must visit when in Selma.
  • Visited the museum in July 2013. Fascinating equipment, photos, and items of historical significance. Look forward to seeing what modernizations, currently being implemented, will allow visitors to see.
  • Great collections of Voting Rights, Civil War, Railroad, Naval and much, much more.
